Earth Day Clean Up - Clean Up Green Up Day is this Saturday. We will be at the gazebo behind Gary Allen School at 9AM with supplies for those who can help us clean General Brock Park for all to enjoy.
SAVE GENERAL BROCK PARKLAND UPDATE
City of Burlington confirmed that the General Brock Park Acquisition was successful with the HDSB, and finalized with a celebration at the Park on Thursday June 11, 2010. Thanks to all those who supported us on the Save General Brock Park Committee and to all the committee members over the years. It was a long Seven years of work, and after sitting on the committee for the entire duration, it amazes me that Parkland is not more of a priority with our city and some of the user groups and people who use the park. However at the end of the day, I could not have been happier with the outcome.
