Refund Policy

BWRSL is a volunteer run women’s organization. Since we have no paid employees, we were unable to qualify for the business loans or grants available for support during Covid-19. However, our fixed costs (Fees, Insurance, licenses and website fees, etc.) still remain and require payment.

As such for the 2021 outdoor season, we have amended our refund policy to reflect our increasing business costs that need to be covered should the season be shutdown due to Covid-19. If the Province or Public Health cancels team sports for any reason related to Covid-19 after the season commences there will be no refunds and no exceptions.

Please note that while Covid-19 is a new factor that leagues must consider it is something that we must all deal with and having been dealing with for the past year.  We expect all players to evaluate the situation at hand and assume their own risk when it comes to potential shutdowns.

Should you register/pay and the league does not operate prior to the start of the season we will provide you with a refund minus the $100 administration fee.

Should you register/pay and chose not to play for any reason prior to the start of the season you will receive a refund minus $100 administration fee. After the season commences there will be no refunds and no exceptions.

Please note we are not accepting your payments until we have a confirmed start date from the Province and Public Health which allows plenty of time to assess the situation as it fluctuates.

Any refund provided after the season starts will be provided pending the return of any league issued jerseys and their condition upon return.
