We currently can’t offer soccer. Prior to this stay at home order, Halton was in the Red zone and that resulted in only training could be offered, but no games.
We want to ensure everyone who wants to play can. Its part and parcel of why we operate. Our focus is to ensure an excellent soccer environment that helps promote soccer, women’s health, self image and the love of the sport. In doing this we want to ensure we are operating a safe league during this environment. In doing so we are glad that we are an Ontario Soccer Sanctioned league that will be following all the Return to Play protocols that are mandated by our governing bodies – Ontario Soccer, Soccer Canada and the Chief Medical Officer of Health.
With that being said, we hope you are all staying safe and in good health. We hope to see you soon on the Pitch! Please check back with us once we are not in a locked down zone with stay-at-home orders ( May 5/2021) to see when soccer can be offered. Remember we can not play soccer till we are out of the Red zone and in the Orange Zone. Fingers crossed we all get to play sometime this summer and that Halton is in the orange zone or better sooner than later. Take care, stay in touch and be safe.
Yours in Soccer, BWRSL
